Julie Andrews (Maria) and the children – Charmian Carr (Liesl), Nicholas Hammond (Friedrich), Heather Menzies (Louisa), Duane Chase (Kurt), Angela Cartwright (Brigitta), Debbie Turner (Marta) and Kym Karath (Gretl) have had reunions before, but this was the first with Christopher Plummer (Captain von Trapp).
The show also included a performance of 'Edelweiss', sung by the von Trapp Children, four of the great grandchildren of Captain Georg von Trapp, also known as the singing group J.A.M.S.
For those that live outside of North America, I hope that you were able to watch it too.
