Leather Lederhosen costume....

My friend had a Sound of Music party in a local hall, and invited as many of her friends as she could. We had a brilliant night! I'm lucky enough to have an Austrian male friend who declined his invitation, so I borrowed his lederhosen for the party. I think Kurt looked much better in his than I did, but I reckon I had the most authentic kit out of everyone. The local costume hire shop had one, but it wasn't nearly as good, and I saved myself some money. Ask friends or neighbours if they have any period clothes that might be suitable. You don't have to spend lots of time or money hiring or making your own costume, although that can be really fun too.
